Kent County, Maryland is where some of my ancestors are from on my father’s side.

For centuries thereafter, it was considered a foundation of English law. The ideals of Magna Carta inspired notions of individual liberty in the charters of the English colonies in North America, and later the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States of America.

I am a descendant of some of the Barons through Margaret (Domville) Banks 1610 – 1667.
